Man...thanks for posting all of this stuff Shane. It's like finding a sunken ship full of pirate treasure.....or something like that.
My god, what a beautiful, flowing, almost Hirschfeld-like line he had!
And do I spy a little Gene (An American in Paris) Kelly satire here?
Thanks for posting these wonderful examples of Owen Fitzgerald's work. One thing that particularly impresses me is how natural, elegant and graceful are the poses of his female characters. They're so lively and dynamic, without ever looking forced or awkward. He's also a master of composition and an excellent storyteller. A great and still highly underrated artist.
The panels of the lifted/thrown girl are pretty damn amazing. Thanks for posting these.
